Hi everyone,
I'm using Ebobirthday on my Galaxy S to notify me whenever it is someone's birthday. I've managed to send my contacts' birthdays (synced the contacts with Gmail so I have a birthday field) to the calendar so an audible notification will occur at 1pm on the day of someone's birthday. However, syncing between my contacts and EboBirthday can only be done manually, it seems.
However, my issue with EboBirthday is that not all of the contacts' birthdays actually sync with EboBirthday. It has a "sync with google.com contacts" function, but this isn't working flawlessly. When I enter in a new contact with their birthday, it doesn't sync with EboBirthday. I tried using a different birthday app, birthdayinfo widget, which does sync flawlessly with my google contacts. Thus my conclusion is that it is a problem with EboBirthday itself.
Is anyone having or has anyone had the same problem? I'd really like to be able to enter a birthday into my contacts list (google.com contacts), for it to auto-sync with EboBirthday (or any Birthday app), and for it to auto-write an entry into my calendar (I think this happens with EboBirthday), so an audible notification will go off at a specific time on the day of someone's birthday. Even if the app didn't write to the calendar, just for it to audibly notify me at a set time on the day of someone's birthday that it is their birthday, that would be excellent
Thankyou for your time.
