Is there an app on my Samsung Galaxy Centura phone (Samsung S738C) that allows me to do birthdays? Where I could enter my contacts' birthdays and my phone would send me a notice when their birthday is?

After 15+ years, we've made a big change: Android Forums is now Early Bird Club. Learn more here.
Any calendar apps can do that.

If your contacts are set to Sync to Google, as well as your calendar app, you will see Contact Birthdays as one of the options in Calendars to Display in S Planner.
