I use bit.ly on the web to directly shorten urls and share it across by twitter and facebook account.

Is there an app which can do the same on Android? I have tried Bitdroid and URLy both of which opens the facebook mobile webpage to share the link and it does not work.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy with Android 2.1

Please let me know

I use URLy myself with no problems with Facebook. But then too, Facebook is notorious for occasionally losing functionality with mobile devices (regardless of app), that may be your problem.

Does URLy open the m.facebook.com webpage or the FB App?
