Bit of an odd question...

What type of gorilla glass does the Motion have?

With these specs, and even the sheer facts its got gorilla (sounds like a bad std. Lol.) makes it worth the money spent. I work at a factory and blew through 2 attain screens. I need ANY protection available. I was just curious.

I believe it is Gorilla Glass II. Not 100% sure ;)

thats a selling factor. Supposedly its scratch resistant. If you smash it with hammer, its still going to break.

From what I understand, the main benefit of GG1 vs. 2 is the thickness of the glass. I've never personally cared about 1 extra mm.

GG3, though, is supposed to make 40% of the scratches GG does suffer on rare occasion invisible to the eye. Which is a true scratch resistant improvement.

I've had my phone a week bouncing in and out of pockets with keys and the screen still looks perfect. I ask friends with iPhones and no screen protectors to let me see their screen off and likewise, 0 scratches.

The only benefit I find from screen protectors is they seem much better on anti-smudge. I can see my pattern unlock perfectly when my phone is off (and it's somewhat complex, but the smudge hint makes it pretty easy to hack).

I've had this motion since day one, I've dropped it from shoulder level on concrete with only minor scratches on the case. The glass ignored the fall. Our phone has gg2, ignore most of what you read about this phone. 1200 MHz being my main reason.

Had a temper tantrum the other day and tossed one of my back ups at the wall, the phone came apart, glass is still day one.

My phone has fell multiple times and it only has one little scratch on the top left black part ;)
Only stands out in the light but you never really notice it :p

How do you know it has GG2?

My aunts iPhone has gg1 and couldn't take a fall on carpet, it was a week old. I've had more motions than I've had birthdays and never had a screen even scratch on any of them. Like the one I chucked at the wall. Ooh and the fact the my connect had gg1
