Bizarre Geolocation Problem

For the last week or so, my S3 has started thinking I'm in Frederick, Maryland, even though I'm 3,000 miles away in Los Angeles, California.

It does this with the weather widgets, giving me incorrect forecasts. Yet if I open Maps, it pinpoints my actual location correctly.

At first, I thought this was just something weird on the S3. But today, my Galaxy Tab 10.1 started doing it too. This time using Beautiful Widgets, AND emergency weather information cards on Google Now (CWM Jellybean).

What gives? It's happening across devices and I haven't changed any settings, so I really doubt it's a config problem on my end.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Are you using WiFi?

90% of the time that's the issue. It's trying to judge your location based on that, which can be way off

I am using WiFi, but so is my Droid 3 (different Google account) and that is fine. Also the location never updates (set to do so hourly) when I go to work, 45 miles away.

Thanks!
