Hi,

Does anyone know how/why this happens and why it won't let me change to the white one?

What launcher are you using? Long press on the widget and see if options pops up

yeah i second that with your launcher. i use nova prime and the only setting i found to change the google search color was in the nova prime launcher setting.

That's the thing. I'm not using any launcher! This is the standard Samsung one.

huh that is odd. i do not see any setting to change that. what phone do you have?

It also looks like that in kiwi browser in dark mode.

Try going into your Samsung browser settings and see if there's a dark mode checked.
