Black Market... Root?

Hey all, I have 3 android phones, a Galaxy S2, Razr Maxx, and Thunderbolt. Two are rooted, the S2 and TB. All three have the blackmarket installed. I thought the BM required the phone to be rooted, if so, then why did my Maxx allow it to install and I am able to download cracked apks.

If you know why it requires root and can clarify why for me, please let me know. Thanks!

Discussion of pirated apps is not something we want on Android Forums. It's both dishonest and a potential security threat from malware. It's best to avoid it.
