So i replaced my screen then on bootup there is a very faint light on bottom of phone the buttons work. i can feel it vibrate when i hit them. can not answer phone calls though any help please? Yes ive checked all cables to make sure none are loose etc. and was extremely careful in doing repair.

Wow, a blacked-out screen. It does sound like a hardware issue: it's either bad or something in the underlying software kernel isn't accepting that display. That starts to go beyond the scope of Android Forums, but not entirely...
You didn't mention which device you are using, so I can't point you to that particular forum. Please go to the device-specific forum, maybe even the All Things Root section, and present your issue there. You might find someone who can point you in the right direction.
