Help Black screen, menu button and back button light up

Hi All,

I have the I9000 Galaxy S. Yesterday I went to get my phone out my pocket and noticed nothing was happening with the screen. I presumed the battery was dead so went to charge it up and hit the power button but nothing has happened.

When I do hit the power button I am pretty sure it switches on though because my alarm on the phone went off this morning albeit just the once and then stopped.

The back and menu button light up but like i said nothing happens on the screen.

Any ideas?

If you haven't done so already try pulling the battery and reinserting after 20-30 secs.
