Help Black screen, Odin cannot see phone, but it can answer calls?

I replaced touchwiz with another launcher (I forget the name). I removed touchwiz, but I still have the apk file stashed on a memory card.

Anyway, I forgot, and did a factory reset. Oops, no UI.

It is now an "answer only" phone because I can answer calls. I can sometimes get into settings as well.

I went to restore using one of the ROMs I have on hand. Odin will not see it.

Can you boot into recovery and flash a rom that way?

Driver will not see the phone. Maybe I should try again. Usually it takes a struggle to get the driver to see the phone anyway. Most people tell me it takes about a dozen connects and disconnects.

Yes the phone is in development mode.
