black screen on android tablet

hi the top half of my android tablet screen is black but it still works is there anyway i can fix it please help me thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum. Have you tried resetting the device. This maybe the only way of fixing it other than having it checked out by a technician.

If it bothers you that much... I think you should. I'm sure its not fun looking at half of a screen.
