black screen

my htc sensation xl screen just went completely black/blank after i made a call.will turn on,calls do come in but nothing on screen to answer/make call,please some bosy help

Sounds like the proximity detector, the part that turns the screen off when you're on a call so that you don't "cheek dial", went bad. If that's the case (it'll have to be tested) it'll have to be replaced.
