Black spot on camera pictures

If it appears in the same place each time it is likely to be caused by either condensation or dust on the ccd, as I expect you have already checked the lens.
If tapping the phone doesn't move the spot I would advise taking it back to the supplier.
Do you see it when you look at the camera live image or only on the recorded image.?
Do you also see it in shots taken through the back facing camera as well?

Thanks for the reply, pretty peed off if Im gonna have tp take it back been in 3 times about this phone and they gave me a brand new phone because its been sent off so many times
 
I know what you mean!
I still have the dreaded pink smudge in the centre of each shot. I'm thinking that will never be fixed.
 
It's a bit of a long shot but it might be worth checking your Samsung apps app to see of there's a camera firmware update available.

Theres almost like dead pixels on the camera sensor its not the screen cause if i zoom in on the black spot it looks like something has burnt it weird ill upload a zoomed in photo
 
Regarding the pinkish smudge, this has been a problem that I thought most or even all S2 users had. If you start up the camera and then look at a white wall (or sheet of paper). The center part of the screen appears discolored. Slightly pinkish. If you don't have it then consider yourself lucky, well, except for your other camera problem! Still, you don't want another problem on top of that, eh?

I saw the comment about dead pixels. If it's the area I am looking at in the screenshot you posted then it certainly isn't dead pixels, but then I am looking at a quite large blurred dark smudge in the top right section. There's a larger and slightly fainter one at the lower right as well. There does appear to be a very sharp black dot of one or maybe two pixels in size, but that is not what I thought you were talking about. If it is, then yes - could just be dead pixels which, for a screen of this resolution, isn't acceptable, but not many manufacturers give a dead pixel warranty (unless it's paid extra for). With Samsung, I don't know if they offer this or even provide it by default.
For the smudges, I have suffered from an absolutely identical problem in a good quality digital camera after a trip to a hot country (Cape Verde). It was diagnosed as probably being caused by either oil from the zoom motor or condensation getting onto the sensor. I sent the camera back and got refunded, but it took a very long time (and is why I will never buy from Pixmania again!)

regarding your dead pixel thing, its not on the screen its only on the camera app i shall upload a photo to show the pixel error it looks like a burn
