Blacklist

I might have to check this out. I've been putting this off for a long time since NBC hasn't done so well when it comes to bringing out new shows. I might have to catch it on demand or some other streaming service soon, sounds really good.

You should. Nbc really nailed it this time.

Now they just have to keep the writers happy

I started watching this recently. I find the show to be enjoyable. But, 14 episodes in, some things are starting to nag me. For one, the FBI in this show are completely incompetent. Like, police in Dexter incompetent. Red has coerced them into an immunity deal which apparently allows him to continue his criminal operation, and murder several people. There isn't enough of an ongoing story thread. There have been hints about Red's motivation, Keen's past, and her husband. But you can never trust anything Red says. So, I'm still waiting on something concrete to happen behind the Blacklister of the week story.

Have you watched "Catch me if you can". Leonardo de'Caprio's character gets released from the jail to help FBI fight the crimes, because he is an expert. Movie is actually based on true story. Yes, it's highly unlikely for a top wanted criminal to work for government, but it has happened in past and it's pretty realistic.
Leonardo's character goes to work for the FBI, and they keep close tabs on him. Red is still conducting criminal activity, and has killed 1 or 2 people per episode. In the case of The blacklist, Red is the one in control.
