Help Blank SD card error

Hi all, I have a SanDisk 32gb SD card and when I put it in my tab 3 7.0 it gives me the blank SD card error. I format and it still gives me the same error. I tried the card in a another device and it works. Any idea why this is?
 
Did you format it in the Tab 3? If not, did you use Fat 32? What other device did it work in? Need a little more detail, I you don't mind.
 
Sorry, it is a brand new unrooted device. The first time I put the card in the tab asked if I wanted to format so I said yes. And it still says blank SD card error.
 
Hmmm....Was your Tab 3 a refurbished unit? If so, I'd return it. Well, actually I'd return it even if it was brand new. Sounds like there could be a problem with the Tabs' card reader.

Or maybe try a known-good card from someone else's android device...just to see if your Tab can read/write it.

I would try a known good card in the tab and if that doesnt work then return the tab.also make sure the card is seated completely in the slot on tab. You might have to use a pair of tweezers or something to achieve this. Hopefully it all works out.
 
I actually think I'm going to return this regardless. Just picked up a nook HD for $80 and it seems to be less sluggish. I'm having the same issue on that too; so must be the SD card. Thanks for your help.

So I guess it all worked out. Thats good. I myself would definitely rather have a sgt 3 than a nook however. I dont notice any sluggishness in my tab 3 8.
