Sounds like the title of a book, or movie.
I've had the Reverb for a few weeks now, and I've only gotten the frozen touchscreen three times. The first two were a couple days apart, and the second time I got a glimpse of the RAM usage just 30 seconds prior to it (only a few, literally few, MBs of RAM left). The third time was about a week afterwards, and the RAM usage was uber high then, too. It's safe to say that the issue is with the amount of RAM that is being used up unnecessarily, regardless of how weird that sounds, until proven otherwise.
However, I've noticed something that's prevented the issue from showing up since then, and I haven't seen it mentioned on here (maybe it was, and if so my apologies, but I hadn't seen it). I was poking around in the Applications Manager in System Settings, and found that under "All," you can tap on the Samsung bloatware. That isn't exciting, but to those who didn't know about this, the following might be: you can disable the bloatware completely.
Enjoy.

- Select the bloatware app you want to have disabled by tapping on it.
- Tap on "Uninstall Updates," if present.
- Tap on "Force Stop."
- Tap on "Disable."
- Voila!
Enjoy.
