Block certain telephone numbers

Hello,

I have LG 9 with Android 4.1.2 . I would like to block some calls from specific telephone numbers (income calls & SMS).

In Iphone (iOS7) it's easy to configure.
How to do this in Android? Is that requires an external application (I could find Blacklist), or this can be done without installing 3rd party application?

Some service providers will block numbers. Contact them to find out.

What is the problem with installing an app to handle this?
 
The device blacklist Dont always work and if you blacklist a number you reset your device blacklist is cleared and I seen that darn number back so yes a app would be the greatest thing for your problems

I downloaded Call Blacklist. I defined 3 history annoying numbers: Those numbers added to my contacts!

I deleted those numbers from my contact list and those numbers removed from Calls Blacklist...

Checkin Mr number...

BTW, does Nexus 5 is compatible with this requirment, without installing 3rd party application?
 
Try the free version Blacklist by Antek in the Play Store

It will block numbers. Or it can be a white list and block any number not in your contacts list.
