Block Unwanted Numbers

Afternoon folks am looking for some help here , i get alot of unwanted calls from companies etc which are not saved in my phonebook is there any app out there or on the phone where i can only receive calls from those on my phonebook. This is very annoying . Oh its the HTC Desire HD Handset

Yes, when you go to Menu>Settings, there's a toggle there for block private and unknown calls. basically, anybody who isnt on your phone book or are using private numbers get SMS and calls blocked. Problem with this is that when someone you know gets a new number, they cant contact you as well.

The app does have a community blacklist, where there are thousands on numbers stored that belong to companies though.
 
Cheers mate got it and works , i did notice though now it will ring 5 times on the receivers end then go dead is there not an option where it will not connect at all ?? Also i installed the Elite version which states its free ?
 
Hmm, not sure if that happens to me. I got it at hide notification and hide blocked calls/sms icon...so i actually never know when someone tries to call. Theres also an option to suddenly pick and hangup a call that was blocked.
 
Cool i just came across another slight prob , i have blocked numbers but have also blocked messages from these numbers coming through take it i cant just block the numbers it blocks messages also ?
