Blocking ICS

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 that unfortunately I approved the ICS to to be installed on. I went and removed it and went back to Gingerbread but now I am getting notices that ICS is downloaded and ready to be installed and a prompt for me to reinstall it. I DO NOT want that crap back! I am afraid I will accidentally accept it one day when I am not paying attention, is there anyway to permanently disable the upgrade?

whats wrong with ics?

What happened with you on ICS? Well you could just ignore the update prompt. It won't update without your intervention. Not really sure why ICS is crap for you though. When I updated my tab, it became faster, had better battery life and better animations.

The ICS never worked right on my phone. The problem is the prompt to update pops up every two seconds. Is there a way to stop the prompt?:(
