Blocking text messages / spam

when you block text messages from someone can you still seem them in your SPAM folder or are they automatically deleted? also I think the phone is a Samsung Galaxy which includes blacklist? i'm not sure, thanks

If you let me know which model Galaxy, I'll move this post to the relevant device forum, if you're using the stock, messaging app that came with the phone, folks there will be best placed to assist.
