Help Blu stuck on "Optimizing app 1 of ..."

I have a Blu life one X that is stuck on the "Optimizing app...". The battery died so every time it starts optimizing the apps it dies in the middle of the process. I've tried letting it charge for a while then turning it on without it being plugged in as'well but the same thing happens. This has happened once before and somehow I got it to turn on but not today. It has been doing this for almost 6 hours now.

Have you just taken a system update of any sort?

You could try booting to recovery and wiping the cache partition or perform a factory reset. If you reset, you'll lose data so it could be worth trying a cache wipe first.
