Blue Camera

Hey all was just wondering when you open the camera app and take a picture does your picture look a little blue, because mine does and i dont know if that's normal? When i switch it to HDR is not too bad though. Please help!

I haven't noticed anything like that yet. Does it still look blue on your computer monitor?

Yes, there is a blue tint in some lights. HDR seems to correct it though.

What is HDR? I got a severe purple tint over an entire picture I took yesterday. Was the first time I had ever seen that.

Sounds like a white balance problem. Check and see if you changed from auto. If it's set to incandescent, but you have fluorescent lights "white" won't be white. Verify that it's on Auto, or set it to the conditions you have and see if that corrects it.

Mine is set to auto and was blueish in a dimly lit room.

Now I have the lights on it looks fine.

Auto is never perfect. In low light you might try the cloudy, or incandecent setting.

I figured it out! so if you hold the setting wheel for the camera and click down to the 3rd item on the bottom wheel of the circle you should see a setting that says AW i think it's auto white, pick this and it should stop your pictures from looking blue.
