Root Blue Screen Fastboot 2.2.1 Rooted

I have Froyo and its rooted with Velocity 1.0, and when i boot into Recovery it just shows a blue screen and says somethin bout fastboot... help anyone? I want to install a different rom.

You tried to flash clockworkmod as a recovery didnt you? REFLASH AMON-RA! Clockwork does not rule correctly on the lg ally!
