I have had Casio C811 since launch date and have tried several times to root the phone, only to have my computer BSOD on every patch. Did a little investigation and it seems like it was a driver issue. I had the lovely verizon driver and installed the generic google driver instead, no change.
I also tried just doing a backup using adb, oddly the computer BSODs. If I try any push or pull from adb the computer BSODs.
Got frustrated, switched to my Kindle fire hdx and tried rooting that instead, worked without a hitch.
Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions? Computer is running Windows 7 64bit.
Might try on my friends Mac in a few days see if its isolated to my computer or my phone.
