Help Bluetooth calling out issue

Horrorscope

Lurker
Hey guys, I have my sgs2 synnced with the Bluetooth in my car. I can receive calls no problem but because i have skype also on my phone when I go through Bluetooth to make a call it prompts me to choose through to call through the dialler or skype, and if I don't choose dialer it will disconnect the phone from BT. So the only way I can make outgoing call is to choose the contact on the phone and manually dial, and it will then connect through BT. So i guess what im asking is is there a way to make it so it automatically dials through the dialer?

That wasn't me trying to be clever... honest! ;)

I'm guessing that your Contacts are sync'd with Skype and that your phone doesn't know whether to use your carrier or Skype when you want to dial.

Can't you set the dialer as default? That way it would just use it when you are using bluetooth? If the option to choose comes up, usually there is a box for you to mark as default.

If in Contacts you press the Green handset to call then a bopx comes up asking you which to use, Skype or the Dialer. There is a check box to set the default.
