Bluetooth connection issue

Hello Dck. Welcome to Android Forums. If your phone or tablet is 4.0 compatible it will be backwards compatible. If you are having problems connecting to an older device, let us know. We should be able to get you connected unless you are experiencing some hardware problems. Let us know what Android device you are using... that might aid us in our assistance. I am using a Galaxy S4 mini , BT4.0 to connect a KE283-CDBT1 (for Nissan carphone) adapter, probably BT3.0 or lower.

How to make these compatible?
