Help Bluetooth delay

When I have my Jawbone bluetooth connected to my S3 there is about a 2 second delay between hearing the ringtone through the external speaker and the device. Also when playing some games, like Doodle Bowling, there is a delay in the sound of the pins falling. Does anyone know why or if there is a fix for this? Please.

Yeah, I have a delay too. Using a Motorola elite flip. I don't think there is a way to get rid of it.
