Help Bluetooth Discoverable time out

I am new to this site, I joined because I have an issue with My Galaxy Ace. I have an embedded bluetooth telephone system in my car, I paired my Galaxy to it and was able to see the address book etc for only a short time, this I am told is because the Bluetooth discoverable mode times out. The phone will automatically connect when I start the car and I can make a call by voice activation if I know the number, however this is not a lot of use if I don't. Is there a fix for this or do I dump the phone and go back to my low tech Nokia

I have this Phone and have no issues at all with VW connection shows phone book and call list plus calling numbers

It is not the Phones Bluetooth

I suspect it is not paired correctly I had this issue it can see the phone but it need to update the phone book in your car set up see if you can see Phone book update

You will also have to repair if you change you Phones name
