I purchased a Bluetooth keyboard for my android tablet, but neglected to make sure my tablet had Bluetooth capabilities. I've done some research, but all the threads lead to a USB Bluetooth Dongle.
What I know so far:
- It has a higher chance if Bluetooth drivers are pre-installed on your tablet. So I installed an application that is meant to be a shortcut to the Bluetooth menu, I tried two and neither of them brought me to a Bluetooth menu.
- The kernel needs to have Bluetooth files, I don't know how to check this, but in the event you do, my tablet is a DragonTouch Y88x, running Android KitKat 4.4.3. The kernel version is 3.4.39, ldj@Exdroid #24, Thu Oct 13 09:59:29 CST 2015
If you wonder what the model of keyboard it is an X-group Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Multi Touchpad(link brings you to it's amazon page).
Thanks for any help
