Bluetooth Earpiece only hear calls

I would like to know how do I get sound to come through the Bluetooth earpiece, such as music and/or other system sounds? If I receive a call, I hear it ring and hear the other person talking, but no other sounds come through. The earpiece is a Plantronics Explorer 220.

Any ideas on what may be causing it not to hear other audio sounds?

Someone said it may be a low end bluetooth device and not allow other sounds to come through and to try this app, **********. Has anyone used it and does it work pretty good?

The 220 is an entry level headset and, as such, is only designed to work with voice calls. See the datasheet on the Plantronics web site:

Wireless compatibility Bluetooth devices supporting headset and hands-free profiles
Version Bluetooth v2.0

It's not clear to me that the app you mention will enable music to be piped to the headset - I'm thinking not from what I can see of a description. You really need a headset that supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile (most descriptions will just say 'music streaming' or similar).
