Help Bluetooth Gamepad for Android to Android Games?

This may sound a little complicated but I'll try to explain it the best way that I can.
I have a Chromecast and with the nexus five the casting feature works great so here's what I want to do

I want to use my Nexus 5 as a gaming console. Basically I want to put a game like dead trigger 2 on my nexus and hook it to my Chromecast, that way I'll be able to see the game on the TV.

But I want to you my other android phone as a game controller.

Basically I'll be looking at the TV while I play the game because I'll be using the other android phone as a WiFi or Bluetooth keyboard.

I just want to find the perfect set of apps to do this and can someone help me do this?

I think there'll be lag involved if you're trying to do that

It's attainable but the input lag will be so much that it will make it not worth doing it in the first place. DT2 and Chromecast combined will kill your battery in less than an hour.
