Help Bluetooth headphone controls?

I'm trying to figure out the behavior of the Bluetooth headphone controls on the Droid X. It appears that the non-removable (without root) "Music" app has default access to the headset controls when you are using Bluetooth headphones. I've been looking at alternatives, and most of them have an override setting that takes over the Bluetooth controls. But some of the apps do not have this setting, and when I play music in them and use the headphone controls to play/stop the music, the default "Music" app opens up instead and starts playing!

One example is the recently released Mog app, which is great except it doesn't have an option for Bluetooth controls. So if I press the headphone button, music starts playing from the default music app. So I have to use the screen to start/stop music in this app. And I realize that is the developers responsibility to add this function. But a better solution would be to have the currently playing application take over Bluetooth controls, no? I mean, what happens if I have two different audio apps and enable Bluetooth controls on both? Which one gets priority, and does this cause conflicts?

All this and I'm still having problems with the Bluetooth and WIFI conflicting with one another. Either the Bluetooth disconnects, or the WIFI just freezes when I'm playing Internet audio over WIFI using Bluetooth headphones. I've tried a different Bluetooth receiver, and I've tried different WIFI settings. Still, I have to actually switch over to 3G if I want to listen to Internet audio with my Bluetooth headphones connected!

Sorry, just had to vent a little...

no problems here using wifi & BT together...i stream pandora regularly to my moto s9-hd headset.

always use the stock music app though...BT controls work fine. no wisdom to give on alternatives.

Just out of curiosity, have you done the OTA update? It seems like the problem I'm having with Bluetooth and WIFI started after the update, but I cannot be sure.
