Bluetooth headset frequently disconnects.

So, because of covid, I work from home now. I need reliable phone service and a reliable headset. I bought the plantronics voyager 5200 headset. It wasn't a cheap headset. When I first got it, it worked great. Now, it frequently will disconnect mid call. If I go to bluetooth settings, calls will be toggled off for the headset. If I try to turn it back on, it just turns back off quickly. The only way I can turn calls back on is to unpair the headset and re-pair it. Ive only had the headset a few weeks.

it might not5 be your headset. it could also be your phone. what phone do you have? if its not the phone, then you might want to return it. for me i use my samsung galaxy buds for phone calls and listening to my music.

I have a Samsung note 10+. Be honest, I doubt its the phone or headset (at least for faulty hardware.) I'm more to believe something corrupt with the software.... drivers, bad setting or something.

It would be funny if the headset is bad. Im not having good luck with them. I bought one and, I dont know how I did it, but I lost it a few days later after getting it. I remember I wore it to a store. When I got home I thought it was still on my ear. But a few hours later, I noticed it wasn't on my ear. My habit is either its on my ear or on the charger. I'd never just take it off and put it not on the charger. But, if it fell off, I wouldve noticed that. So, I mustve sat it somewhere. So, then I bought another one. It was lost in the mail. The third one, I was out of town. I had it delivered to an Amazon drop off place. Amazon said they delivered it. My wife went to pick it up and the company where they delivered it to was out of business. I called Amazon and they had no idea what happened to it. It was hindering me for work not having it. So, they overnighted me the 4th one. I got that one.

I downloaded the plantronics app for this one and the tile app, so if I loose this one, I can track it. But, I didn't do it to the first one.

I have Samsung note 8 and I have same issue when I on-call. Even when I watched any video on YouTube, continuously buffering but when I unpaired headset, YouTube work smoothly. Why?
