Root Bluetooth headset not connecting after root

Whiskey06

Lurker
I made the move to root today. Everything works flawlessly with the exception of my plantronics voyager pro. It's still pairs but won't connect. I've tried every order of startup, reboot, and discovery mode I can think of. The headset still works on my desktop so I'm sure it's the phone (root). Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Droid Pro

Does this mean that you have a Motorola Droid Pro? Or is this for an original Motorola Droid?

You can try "forgetting" the bt device, and rediscovering it (if you haven't done so)

Try turning off the Bluetooth device.
Go under Bluetooth settings, long press on the headset, click on unpair.
Click on scan for devices.

This should remove it from your list. Now, rediscover...

I have had issues even on the stock ROM with my Jawbone Icon not wanting to connect, and this seems to work for me. Hope it helps...

This is a very good suggestion! I know that I typically have to do this after a ROM flash or nandroid restore. Give this a try and see if it works.

Also, I have moved your thread to the Droid Pro All Things Root section so that you may get better support.

I tried that already with no luck but I threw a reboot in there this time between the unpair/pair and woolah! We are hands free again! Thanks for everyones help! Cheers!

do you guys have the problem of the bluetooth NOT automatically connecting back? like if you go inside the house and turn off your bluetooth, then you go back in your car and turn on bluetooth, it will NOT automatically connect back with your cars bluetooth. you have to manually go into your phones bluetooth settings and connect it back. it is really annoying.
