Bluetooth inoperative with Android 4.3?

My NEXUS 7 bluetooth (4.3) is no longer talking with my Zagg Flex keyboard. The folks at Zagg say to wait until the next version (4.3.x??) comes out. Really? Maybe I should try and reload an older version like 4.2.2?

Any ideas?
