Bluetooth Keyboard Issue

So I just got a bluetooth keyboard for my Galaxy Tab 3. After some research I found an app called Null Keyboard to keep the onscreen keyboard from popping up. Well, the issue is that my tab keeps turning the default keyboard back on by itself. Is there a way from stopping my tab from changing this?

Example:
First pic is what I change my setting to. Notice my default is set to Null Keyboard.

Second pic is a message I receive.

Third pic is what the settings look like after my tab changes them itself.

Have you tried it with the keyboard set to Samsung QWERTY? (That usually means a slide-out keyboard, but should work whether the external keyboard is wired or connected by BT.)

Or have you contacted the developer of the Null Keyboard app?
