Bluetooth keyboard

I'm looking at buying a BT keyboard to use with my Nexus 7 which is set up for the UK, including the default keyboard layout. The one I'm interested in is US layout, so my question is can I configure each independently so I can use the mixture of layouts - UK onscreen, US physical - without having to reconfigure each time I use them?

Looks like I'll have to just buy one and find out for myself...

I have a US layout Bluetooth keyboard but, it's in a box in the bedroom where my partner's still asleep lol. I'll get it out later and have a look, see if it works .
