Help Bluetooth Mic Sensitivity App

Is there an app that will let me adjust the mic sensitivity on my phone while using Bluetooth? I don't think I can deal with having to swap out yet another phone because of this issue, but every headset I use overdrives the audio, and if not whispering, it is impossible to discern the words on the receiving end. I've heard that you can adjust this with a rooted phone, but I haven't gone there yet. I've tried using different headsets, from different manufacturers, newer and older models (such as Moto H700, H720) and the result is the same. I can't stand putting the phone up to my head, and speaker phone is impractical at times, and has it's own audio quality problems.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Hi, Thx for the link, but I was unable to locate any threads that addressed this issue, so I created this thread on the app forum. I can find a large number of posts on the 'net regarding the poor performance of the microphone on the Rezound, and if I am not holding the phone just right, even handheld will get complaints from callers. The bluetooth mic issue is insane, as most times it is impossible not to overdrive the mic (when I whisper VERY quietly, problem solved). There is no hope of a clean connection anywhere near a noise source, such as being in my car or out in the public. Occasionally, I can get a cleaner call by switching the headset on off on, perhaps forcing it to select another channel, but in general, once I hear the words "I can't understand anything you're saying", I have to disconnect. I could use some advice about my options. Will rooting allow this to be adjustable? Which ROM? Is there a comparable phone available from Verizon? Last time I replaced my Rezound (between wife and me, 5 different phones in the last year), VZW offered the INC 4G, which spec wise is a poor cousin.
