Bluetooth On & Off

Hi;

Every night before I go to sleep I use my music app and connect with my bluetooth stereo speakers. Usually I set the music app timer for 30 or 45 minutes and the music quits playing. The stereo speakers will go off after 45 minutes with no activity.

So now I want to use tasker to do everything for me. I would like to leave the bluetooth Off on my samsung S4 all the time. When I run the Music App I want tasker to do the following:

Bluetooth Set On
Wait 45 minutes
Media Control Cmd Pause
Bluetooth Set Off

This doesnt seem to work for me. If I shut the bluetooth off and then play my music, I can never seem to get bluetooth to turn on

Thanks for any help

I dont want to use it off the time. I want it only to turn on the bluetooth if using the music app and turn it off on exit.

I also have bluetooth in my car. So if I run my music app in the car, I want it to turn the bluetooth on, run the app and then exit after 45 minutes.

Thanks for any help

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you... should be straight forward:
  • In the profile tab, press the "+" sign
  • Select "Application" and press the device's back key
  • Select "New Task" from the pop-up menu
  • Press the "+" sign
  • Select "Net"
  • Select "Bluetooth"
  • Set "On" and press the devices back key
  • Press the "+" sign
  • Select "Task"
  • Select "Wait" and set the time for 45 mins and press the devices back key
  • Press the "+" sign
  • Select "Net"
  • Select "Bluetooth"
  • Set "Off" and press the devices back key
Think that should sort you out - done this from memory, so can't be 100% sure :)

Thank you very much! It works and I am kind of surprised. I tried the exact same thing, but I had a Media Control command Pause in there....

Bluetooth Set - On
Wait
Media Control Cmd - Pause
Bluetooth Set - Off

Evidently it didnt like the "media control"

It works great and thanks again:)
