I have a Bluetooth mono/A2DP adapter that I'm trying to use in my car, but can't because my Nexus 5 won't play media through it, even though my 2013 Nexus 7 will. The 5 will play phone audio through it, and says in the menu that it is selected for media, but when I play audio through an app, there is no sound. You can hear a little "pop" in the speakers like the adapter is expecting sound. This is especially strange since the 5 works just fine with a different Bluetooth speaker. I've done a complete factory reset on the 5, to no avail.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
