bluetooth problem with Samsung s2

The S2 appears to have a problem maintaining connectivity with my VW Toureg music system. It starts alright but if i turn off the engine and then turn it on after some time, the bluetooth does not pick up.. Any tips on what might be wrong and how i can rectify this.. my wife's i phone has no such problems though so it appears its not a problem with the car.

The AF community welcomes you , a lot of people report bluetooth problems, i will give you some basic steps to possibly solve this issue.

I would try performing a hard battery reboot by removing the battery and reinserting it and restarting the device.
