Bluetooth problem

So I have an Acer a500 tablet and a galaxy note. I tried to send stuff from my Bluetooth dongle on my win 7 laptop to both the tab and phone, however, it couldn't connect. It picked them both up, just couldn't send the files.
I then tried to pair my Bluetooth headset (a cheap nexus one) to my note, but it wouldn't even pick the headset up.
Is there a major problem with Bluetooth on Android? I've shopped around for mini Bluetooth keyboards, and they all say that they aren't compatible with Android.

Anyone have any way around this? Both tab and note are unrooted.

I dont think theres been a bluetooth problem per say with android devices...
You did say you were successfully paired up to the device and the source file device/computer? are you able to send even smaller files bck and fourth ?

Oh good... that was the concern i first thought.. that the tablet and Note werent recognizing each other as android devices. So you are having the issue getting things via blue tooth too and from the computer to the android.

Yeah, the file just wouldn't send at all. Didn't try sending something from phone to comp.
I just tried my official playstation headset, and the note wouldn't pick that up either.

there could be some devices that wont connect or transfer... when you do a search for the playstation device.. does it even ask for a 4 digit code or does not not even recognize the playstation headset is on and cant search it?

wow. now that sound like an incompatibility for sure. You havent found any thing online referring to any android device and the device you need to pair? I will keep an eye out for any discussions here in AF and post the link back here should i come across one..

You are right, seem that someone else just had to have experienced what you are now and shared the info.
