Bluetooth problem

Hi, first of all thank you for reading this, I am new in this, so I don't know much about android apps, but for a project in university I wanted to connect an android device with an arduino. And for that I saw that many people had already done that, with App Inventor, which doesn't require programming skills almost, so I tried to make my own app but I had a problem that when in the list picker the bluetooth didn't find any device, even though when I tried from settings it found them. So I tried other applications made by other people but still I continue with the same problem, the phone didn't find any device.

I have Android 4.1.2 and I think there is a problem with that, or maybe with App Inventor 2, I am not sure.

Then I look in Google store, and I tried Bluetooth Pi Arduino PC but with no luck so I thought that maybe there was some problem in my tablet, but finally I found this app "BlueArduino" and it worked. So, now I am trying to use an activity starter to connect to the arduino with that app and then do what I want in my app. But I have read that for that I need the packet name and the class name. So, could you help with any of my problems? If you could tell me why I can't use the Bluetooth in App Inventor I would be grateful but otherwise could you tell me how I could get those names?

Thank you.
