Bluetooth problems

Hi all,

My first post. I have had my S3 for a few months now. So happy to see the Blackberry go away.

I updated to JB last week. Ever since i am having Bluetooth problems. When i start my car the bluetooth sometimes kicks in and sometimes it doesnt. I have checked and it is paired. Everything is on and should work. If i turn the car on and off a few times it will eventually work.

I never had this problem before the update to JB. Does this sound like a S3 problem or coincidentaly a car problem with the update to JB?

Thanks

well my buddy was having issues with his contacts sync with his car so i tested my galaxy running 4.1.1 and we got it to connect and show all the contacts with no issues so it could be the car not liking the update

I have this issue with a bluetooth receiver I use in my car. Sometimes when I turn it on it auto connects to the phone. Others, I have to go into the phone settings and, even though it's paired, tell it to connect. This usually requires some combination of turning the receiver on/off and the phones bluetooth as well.

I can't be certain it's the phone but with the other issues I have with it that is my guess.

Does it connect for phone usage? If you don't know about it, on the phone you can going it to the settings for each device and tell it to connect for audio and phone.

I am not on Jellybean yet.
