Hi I just recently upgraded from a GS5 to a note 4 and I've noticed that the Bluetooth range in the note is very weak. I cannot transmit from one room to another without having dropouts in transmission. I did not have that problem with the S5,and I'm in an apartment. Could you guys let me know if its a known phone issue or its a lollipop upgrade issue. The range is very weak and I'm disappointed in this phone. Thanks for your help in advance.

What are the walls of your apartment made from? Brick, stone, reinforced concrete, metal foil-backed drywall partitioning? Any of those can severely attenuate or block the low power 2.4GHz microwaves that BT uses. In my apartment, BT just doesn't go through the walls at all on any device, and we've had to install a couple of WiFi extenders as well, to give complete coverage.
Possibly it is one device has worse reception than another, are you getting 10 meters line-of-sight BT range with them?
