I'm using Android Bluetooth chat application to connect to a SPP device.
code works fine with 4.2 and above but same code throws "host is down" and "permission denied" error when i install this app in android 4.0.3 & 4.1.2 versions.
One more thing which i have observed is this code works fine with other similar hardware (SPP device) for all the Android versions.
What i don't understand is, is this a hardware issue or a Bluetooth API issue ??
