Help Bluetooth tethering problem

Hey,
I got Meizu m2 note (it has bluetooth 4.0 with BLE support) and it can't find my bluetooth headset, which has bluetooth 3.0 (Plantronics Explorer 10).
Is it a hardware problem, or there is something I can do to make them talk to each other?
