Help Bluetooth Volume Problem

I have had my S3 for a few weeks now and it's great. Just recently I started having Bluetooth volume problems with only 1 person. The volume while in call with them is so low they are unhearable but volume with everybody else is perfectly fine on Bluetooth. I try turning the volume all the way up and the volume level doesn't even change. Also when I am on the phone itself with this person the volume is fine, it's just Bluetooth so it's not like they're to far away from the phone, etc. Is there a way I can fix this? Reset the volume with that person or something?

I have been having the same problem. I've been using a Galaxy S III for a week, and I've the same thing has been happening in the middle of calls when using my Bluetooth -- but not only with one person. The in-call volume spontaneously drops to to minimum, which is almost inaudible. I then raise the volume manually, but a few seconds later, it drops once again. I know the problem isn't with the Bluetooth headset, because I used the same headset previously with a Galaxy S I, and never experienced this problem.

This is *extremely* frustrating. Does anyone have any leads about this issue?

Ive been having this without using it with the bluetooth device...i wonder if theres a fault in the actual volume button?

Thought I'd throw my two cents in.

Just got my GS3 a few days ago and I have the exact same problem. For me the problem is not so bad; I can hear my wife, but the volume is lower than usual and I have to crank it to hear her at a decent level. So far I haven't tried with anyone else so I can't say if the problem is with just her or everyone. Coming from an iPhone 4, this is disappointing, as the iPhone 4 worked very well.

I tried turning up the call volume to max, and it helped somewhat, but not too much.

There is also a setting for Extra Volume. While in the Dialer screen hit menu and then select Settings. Scroll down and check Use extra vol. for calls. This will add a button to the screen while the call is in progress to tap and get extra volume above the default.

I've already got that checked on.

Today I did another test, and strangely enough, the problem only seems to happen when my wife is on her Bluetooth in her car. Then, the volume is low. When I speak to her when she's on the home phone, the volume was fine.

Not sure what's going on here; WHY would the type of phone on the other end make a difference? It shouldn't.
