Bluetooth

Hi guys
I got a hisense u972. I bought a fitness tracker connect by Bluetooth but doesent connect. I c the Bluetooth on phone is a version 2.1 and the fitness tracker needs a 3.1 and higher. Is there a way to upgrade the Bluetooth on the phone?
Any help wil be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Bluetooth binaries are written into the phone's operating system. If the phone is still using Bluetooth 2.1, that may be why the fitness tracker won't connect... the newest version of Bluetooth is 4.1. Your tracker may not be backwards compatible with Bluetooth binaries that old. You would want to contact Hisense and ask if there are any plans to release a system update for the U972.
