Help Blutooth & Spotify

I am having an unusual issue with getting any metadata from Spotify on my Note 4 to my 2015 Honda Civic.
I haven't been able to narrow it down to a specific thing causing this issue.
Some facts:
- Spotify on my Note 4 will show metadata in my wife's Mitsubishi Outlander
- Pandora & Music show metadata in my car
- Spotify on my wife's M8 shows metadata in my car, as well as her own.

I've tried using the couple apps available in the app store but none of them have worked. I love my phone other than the occasional camera lag and this.

Any suggestions?

I don't have an answer for you but I do have exactly the same problem.

Note 4 metadata no show in my civic but worked ok in another car I tried. Wife's htc worked in both.

Not just Spotify, all media players. I'm hoping lollipop might fix it....

Metadata from Spotify is displayed in my 2015 Kia Forte5, using Note 4.
